January 2010: Something every woman has been waiting for: at last boot shapers that not only do their job but also look great. No more creased shafts, an end to shoe cupboard chaos, no longer any need to hide away those unsightly shoe accessories! Originally designed to improve presentation of articles in leading footwear stores, the inflatable boot shapers from airmici have since found their way into the cupboards of private shoe lovers. With the new “dasuno for airmici” collection – the second of its kind to be launched – the Viennese designer airmici takes a further stroll down the route towards making collector’s items from what were once simply utilitarian “boot supports”.
The dasuno collections for airmici are characterised by their focus on the colours black and white, accented by one trend colour: metallic gold and now the new metallic blackberry. The stylish lines bear the names “Posh me”, “Wicked Boots” and “Anniversary” – a gently ironic reminder of the fascination that shoes have for women.
